A fourth season podium for French Julien Lizeroux!
The skier of Plagne takes the 3rd place of the Slalom, raced yesterday, in Kranjska Gora! Winner here in 2009, Julien who was on the way to clock the best time in the first run, alas, made a big mistake right before the arrival.
Relegated to the 7th place after this first run, he made as usual a good second round to finish on the podium!
Second in the World cup standings of the discipline, by 43 points behind Herbst, the French champion thus remains in race to clinch the globe of the discipline.
Rendez-vous after the Olympic Games for the finale scheduled mid-March at Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
“This was not an easy podium. I made a big mistake in the first run and I think I lost the race today because of it. Anyway, this is a little a miracle that I finished the race. This remains nevertheless a podium, a super-performance! I skied more with my head in the second run. I felt tired. Then, instead of taking all the risks in the second run I made a course more considered than usual. ”
