Victim of an impressive fall yesterday in the Super G at St Moritz (Sui), Italian Nadia Fanchini unfortunately has to stop her ski season due to a rupture of the cross ligaments in both knees.
A hard news for the 23 year-old skier only two weeks before the opening of the Olympic Games…
Author of 9 podiums on the World Cup circuit and 2009 Bronze medallist in Downhill at Val d’Isère, Nadia was a serious hope of medal for the Italian team.
We wish her a prompt recovery and a lot of courage to face this bad event.
