Squaw Valley USA – Monday, March 1 – Aurélien Ducroz (FRA), 2009 FWT winner, is back to the competition to this third stage of the Freeride world tour 2010, held on the Silverado slope in Squaw Valley USA. The riders pushed the limits with a ‘best of two runs’ format. With two huge runs, Aurélien Ducroz reached the second place and offered an awesome show to the public.
Head Judge Ski - Eric Seymour (USA): “He skied the most technical run of the day with a unique line on the top section through very exposed terrain and then landed clear into a narrow chute from a big technical jump at the bottom.”
Aurelien Ducroz (FRA) – 2nd Place
“I am really happy with what I did. I had two good runs after having two bad runs in the previous events so I finally got back into it. I am here. It feels so good to be back on the podium.”
